Bong Bong Common Project

Bong Bong Common Project
Client: Lamond Contracting

NSF Structures was engaged by Lamond Contracting to deliver a suite of premium public-use infrastructure at Bong Bong Common, enhancing community accessibility, recreation, and amenity. The project involved the design, supply, and installation of:

  • 3 pedestrian bridges – providing safe and durable crossing points throughout the common, constructed to withstand local environmental conditions and high foot traffic.

  • 2 viewing platforms – offering elevated vantage points for visitors to enjoy scenic views of the surrounding wetlands and open space, with inclusive access for all users.

  • 5 shade structures – strategically positioned to create comfortable gathering spaces, offering sun protection and improving the usability of the area year-round.

All structures were engineered for longevity, with materials selected for their low maintenance requirements and ability to withstand the elements. NSF Structures worked closely with Lamond Contracting and local stakeholders to ensure the installations blended seamlessly into the natural environment while meeting all relevant safety, compliance, and accessibility standards.

The completed works now provide the Bong Bong Common community with improved connectivity, viewing opportunities, and sheltered spaces, encouraging greater public use and enjoyment of the precinct
