Newcastle Street Furniture is currently working on two new foot bridges over Toongabbie Creek in Crestwood Reserve, Baulkham Hills.
This is ongoing work we are doing with Devcon Civil and Hills Shire Council. The Hills Shire Mayor highlights that this revitalisation project is focused on improving the local waterways.
“We have a responsibility to support our local environment and this project is just one of the many ways this Council is investing in these much-loved habitats to ensure they remain for future generations.
“Our creeks and rivers are home to many native species of flora and fauna and are among some of my favourite places to visit in The Hills Shire.
“This project will go a long way towards protecting and improving Toongabbie Creek, as well as enhancing passive and active recreational facilities within Crestwood Reserve.”
Our community foot bridge range are designed to suit each community’s individual spaces, as we know that no two places are the same. We use a wide variety of materials that are long-lasting hence, putting less stress on the environment, by not needing maintenance or early replacement.
The new bridges at Crestwood Reserve will improve all-weather use for recreational traffic such as pedestrians and cyclists.
The finish date is expected to be November 2021.
