We use concrete as a main material for products as it takes very little from the environment. Concrete is long lasting and needs very little to no maintenance.
Here at Newcastle Street Furniture, we use the process of collecting fishing waste and nets and turning this into a workable product. By using fishing line waste in our concrete moulds, this minimises damage on the marine life and reduces waste going into landfill.
Fishing tackle bins have been installed throughout the community in order to successfully collect this waste and prevent it entering our lake and ocean.
Our sustainability range is available in most of our products including bollards and seating.
